Sun Lee (Seungsun Lee) is a South Korean illustrator, artist, and mother. She believes in the power of art to bring happiness and inspiration. She grew up in Seoul, South Korea, and in early 2021, moved to Minnesota with her son and husband.
Art has always been at the core of who she is. She attended a fine art middle and high school and has a degree in Fiber Art and Oriental Painting from Ewha Womans University in South Korea. After graduation, she taught art while embarking on her creative journey, exploring illustration and developing her artistic voice.
She is known for her colorful work that is inspired by nature and her surroundings. She primarily works with traditional materials such as watercolor, gouache, and acrylic while also exploring digital media to bring her artistic vision to life.
Sun Lee is available for licensing and collaborations. Her work is featured on a book cover, an illustrated book, packaging design, stationery, home décor, lifestyle products, and accessories. She welcomes a variety of illustration projects, so don’t hesitate to contact her if you wish to collaborate, license her work, or have any questions.
